Halloween is filled with Tricks and Treats its important to keep safety in mind for your pets. Halloween can pose a number of safety hazards for pets, who tend to experience high levels of stress due to the excitement of the holiday . Here are a few tips.

1) Costumes- If your dressing your four legged family member in their own costume make sure they can move in it comfortably. Avoid costumes that require tying anything around the neck that could cause them to choke or hang to low to the ground that they could trip over.
2) Keep your pet away from harmful Halloween candy and food.. Beware of the consequences of feeding your pet human food, especially CHOCOLATE! Chocolate can be deadly for dogs! Another danger is XYLITOL found in candy can be potentially lethal when consumed even in small quantities.
3) Keep your home a safe place for your pet. Pets get stressed with all the excitement of Trick or Treaters. Keep pets indoors and give them a safe place to rest and relax. one our calming treats would be very helpful to calm them down and help alleviate any anxiety that they may have.. HERE
